Transition Support

Placement Transition Support

At TISWA, we know that a child’s journey does not end when a court order is granted — in many ways, it is just beginning. That’s why we offer dedicated Post-Placement Transition Support Services for families welcoming children into their care overseas, following positive international assessments.

Whether a grandparent in Ghana, an aunt in Poland, a mother in Brazil or a father in Jamaica, our support helps carers feel confident, prepared, and supported as they begin life with a child who may be carrying loss, change, and uncertainty.

Our services include:

  • Emotional toolkits for children

  • Carer coaching on attachment and trauma

  • Liaison with local safeguarding services abroad

  • Routine planning, educational guidance, and more

With flexible packages tailored to each family’s cultural, emotional, and practical needs, TISWA ensures that children not only move — they settle, grow, and heal.

"We don’t just assess. We walk with families, across borders and beyond the order."
